Tim Brown is a scenic and projection designer currently based in Orlando. His scenic designs for live music include J. Cole’s KOD, 4YEO and Forrest Hills Drive tours, Tyler the Creator’s 2018 tour, and designs for BAS, J.I.D., Ari Lennox, Dreamville, Ted Hearne, Vijay Iyer and Mike Ladd. His theatrical work includes the set design for the world premiere of Ugly Lies the Bones for Roundabout Theatre Company in New York City and the Washington D.C. premiere of The Skeleton Crew at The Studio Theatre. His scenic and projection designs have been seen at the Yale Repertory Theatre, Roundabout Theatre Company, The Studio Theatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Harlem Stage, Interact Theatre Company, Redhouse Arts Center, Astoria Performing Arts Center, Orlando Rep, Columbia University, Barnard College, University of Michigan, Yale School of Drama and Connecticut Repertory Theatre. He has also been an assistant projection designer for Driving Miss Daisy and Macbeth on Broadway and productions at The Public Theatre, Signature Theatre, 2nd Stage, and New York Theatre Workshop. His work has been featured in Variety, American Theatre Magazine and Opera America Magazine. He is a Graduate of Yale School of Drama and currently teaches at the University of Central Florida.
